Use these five quick checks to make digital veteran support clearer while protecting personal information. This reference sheet is free; it is not the AI K9 or Canine Handler guidebook series.

Identify the need. Is the immediate priority essentials, housing, education, income, or a longer-term asset goal?
Use a verified destination. Before donating, confirm whether support goes directly to an approved veteran page or to the nonprofit campaign.
Protect privacy. Do not publicly share exact sleeping locations, benefit documents, case IDs or other private veteran records.
Request a practical next step. Use the private nonprofit intake for housing or resource questions. Only official agencies decide eligibility.
Document follow-through. Save contact dates, referrals and next actions; check back without assuming any promised outcome.
